Shifting Consciousness

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

You have been translated. You have actually been shifted from the real-estate of one consciousness to the real-estate of another consciousness. You may not be aware of it because you are not aware of the structures of that new realm in which you have inheritance rights. The structures of that realm are described to us perfectly in the Word of God called the Bible.

When you accept your new life in the spirit, you accept a new Law. That Law is the Word of God. You are now no longer under the Law of sin and death but you are under the Law of Life that makes you free to fulfill the Word from the inside out.

There was a point in time where the law of sin and death came into the human race to govern it. Yahweh warned of this day, and Adam did not give heed to the Word of Yahweh. Adam voluntarily stepped into this law:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die…

Adam made an agreement or covenant with death and Hell when he ate of the wrong Tree. He knew that he would die because Yahweh told him so. Instead of honoring the covenant and Word of Yahweh, Adam and Eve honored the word of satan through mouth of the serpent, and thus came into covenant with hell and death:

Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement…

Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand

If we will, unlike Adam, honor the Covenant of the Word of God, we will come out from this death realm and into abundant life.

The ‘law of sin and death’ dominates the flesh realm because it is actually the Word that Yahweh spoke would happen. The flesh realm is that realm that Adam fell into when he disobeyed Yahweh. He stepped out of the Grace that was in the spirit and fell into the death that is in the flesh:

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Those in the flesh realm are trapped there by a covenant with death and hell that Adam established way back in the Garden. Who will deliver us from the body of this death called Flesh? Thank God, through Jesus Christ!

Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Yashua is the Covenant made physical. He is the Word in bodily form. He shows us what it looks like to walk out the Word of God as a living spirit. We do the same. It is only difficult to keep the Law/Word when you are trying to do it out of a dead spirit.

Death abides in the flesh and life in the New spirit. This will never change. No matter how much a person chants, “no condemnation” and “grace, grace”, this will not change the fact that in the flesh realm abides death and in the new resurrected spirit abides life. As shown in the above scriptures, it is actually a matter of covenant. What covenant are you under? Are you under the covenant of the spirit or the covenant of the Flesh; the covenant of Life or the covenant of our fathers which is death and hell? We need look no farther than the fruit of our own life to find the answer.

We know that Yashua came to bring us life and life more abundantly. The problem is that we have been deceived into thinking that we can have this life simply by confession and not by experience. We have been told that we can live in the flesh and have the blessings of the spirit. My brethren, let us not be so easily deceived:

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The flesh is the prison cell that Adam fell into when he sinned. It is a realm of judgment and death. Nothing seems to work out well for us when we are in the flesh. God will not help those living in the flesh. He cannot for it is not His domain. Yahweh has no covenant rights with those who choose the Flesh. As we will learn in other teachings, Yahweh is a God who works with His people through and in covenant commitments. This is actually the basis for the 10 commandments. They are the Covenant of a Husband to His bride. They are the Covenant of Love.

What God can do and will do is to help us get out of the flesh by helping us realize how putrid the flesh actually is. He will let us experience the pain, agony, depression, loneliness, and misery of the flesh until we cry out as Paul did:

Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let us be very careful to not accuse God of our problems and our pain when are life gets shaken. It is only being shaken because of all the areas where we have set our foundation upon the dictates of the Flesh and where we have come into agreement and covenant with death and hell.

Our way out of the pain is to simply acknowledge the wickedness of the flesh and what a disaster it has been to our life. We then cry out to Him so that He has our permission to save us out of it.

We should not try to partake of the Flesh realm and declare this is His Grace. His Mercy is to get you out of it and His Grace is to hold you in the New Man of the resurrected spirit.

Grace is given when we turn away from the flesh and repent, asking Yashua to completely remove all memory of the flesh from us.

In response to this prayer, Yashua will lead you to pray, fast, and study and meditate His Word. These spiritual disciplines will begin to shift your consciousness until you are able to keep your mind stayed on him. What your mind begins to fix upon will begin to form new consciousness around your life.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

You will begin to become aware of the place of the Kingdom where your new resurrected spirit man lives.

Remember, you are a resurrected spirit being and as such you can ‘taste’ and ‘see’ the new realms of the spirit and begin to experience life in the spirit. It is expected by Heaven that you do this, so much Grace is made available for you to do it.

Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good:

The more you fix your mind on these realms the more awareness you have of life and the less awareness you have of flesh. The flesh will always try to keep you from ‘fixing’ your mind and heart upon Him and His realms. The flesh will always try to keep you out of your spiritual disciplines.

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

When you are finally able to keep your mind ‘stayed’ upon Him, you will begin to experience ‘perfect peace’.

This is true freedom, and in this lifestyle you will find there is no more condemnation! As your mind begins to be fixated upon His Word, your consciousness will begin to form around His thoughts and you will find that His Word becomes a delightful light unto your path!

Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Pro 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The path that your resurrected spirit walks upon is the Word. If you are not developing a hunger to read, meditate, and then walk in the Word you are starting to understand, then it might be time for a reality check.

If you will continue in His Word, your spirit will form the consciousness of the Word around you as your daily experience and you will simply quit from all flesh experience. The flesh will eventually become a past memory.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
