Waiting out Your Enemies (Part 1)
Lessons in Time
How important is it to find Rest? How important is it to practice SHaBaT?
It is only through learning stillness and practicing rest that you will find His patience. When you find this secret place, you will begin to see from outside of Time.
Your enemy has no patience because he has limited time. He is locked into Time but you are not. You are eternal, and he is not. Whoever lives outside of Time can then control when events show up in the timeline. This can help explain the following scripture:
Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
This can also give us some insight into how to redeem time:
Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time (Kairos), because the days are evil.
Up until this last verse, the “time” I have been talking about is Chronos time, which is the sun comes up and the sun goes down time and everything that happens in the space of that time.
The word “time” in this last verse, as noted, is Kairos time and not Chronos time. Kronos is where we get ‘chronological’, as things ordered in time. We can put things in order of how they happened in the horizontal plane of time.
Kairos, however, is a different word. This word means an event or a specific moment in time. This has been rightly called the “suddenlies” of God. This word is used of prophetic fulfillment and it is about to become the only realm of time that you need to be interested in. Chronos is the playground where the Holy Spirit combines your words with the words of other elohyms into a beautiful tapestry of “redeemed time”.
Chronos is actually the outworking of the Kairos that is dropped into it. Think of Chronos as a closed system, a living system like a cell, and a drop of nutrition is dropped into it and immediately assimilated. What does the living system do? It begins to break down the food and organize it in a way that it can most efficiently use it. This is what Chronos does with a Kairos.
Kairos shows up in Chronos as a word out of Glory. This is a lightning bolt out of heaven into the field of time. This ‘packed’ word from Glory must now begin to be ‘unpacked’ in the field of time in order to then be played out in Chronos.
When the Scripture says “redeeming the time” it means that we buy back or resurrect all the spoken words of Kairos rhema that have ever been planted into the earth by an elohym, a son of the Living God.
Every ‘time’ an elohym speaks, a Kairos releases into the earth. This is the beginning of a sequence of events in ‘time’ (Chronos). In other words, Chronos is the horizontal time plane where the vertical Kairos time (eternity) touches down and demands a new series of events to begin to form.
Kairos is a sudden event or happening in Chronos that shifts the future of a particular situation. If the family was planning a camping trip with their van and then the van engine blows up, that is a Kairos event that changes the chronos future. The van engine blowing up will present choices which will then change what could have been.
Your scroll is full of Kairos energy and power. This is Eternity dwelling within your spiritual heart/scroll. This is the “word of your power”:
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power…
When a word from your scroll leaves your spirit it enters the chronos realm. It’s entrance into the chronos realm is much like the sperm entering an egg. It sets off an unseen chain reaction of potential that then must be governed by the speaker into maturity. Hence you father your words into their Aleph-Tav potential just as Father does His.
Do you understand that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and that hell wants to set your tongue on fire so that you will release tainted Kairos moments into the Crystal Sea?
Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power (YaD; hand) of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Waiting out The Enemy (Part 2)
The Ordering of your Faces
In time, you are the winner and the devil is the loser. He is contracting and becoming crushed by the shortness of his time, while you are expanding. The very passing of time presents every opportunity for you to expand your spirit over the circumstances that come before your faces.
Psa 23:5 Thou preparest (ARaK; to set in order) a table (SHaLaCHaN; something spread out) before me (my faces) in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
This verse can read, “set in order and spread out my faces…in the presence of my enemies. Make my spirit fat with oil as my cup/throne runs over.”
In the presence of our enemies, on the opposite side of them and opposing to them and manifesting boldly in front of them (this is the word ‘presence’). This is how he displays the order of our faces in time before the one who opposes us, our enemy…the dragon.
Do we see a ‘picture’ in scripture of our enemy in front of us that opposes us?
Rev 12:4 …and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Our enemy sets before us as our faces are ordered as a mature son to bear forth the Glory of our Father to the heavenly hosts:
2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
Our faces are ordered as we learn the Language of our Father’s Kingdom. His Language structures us so that our spirit has places to walk (HaLaK):
Zec 3:7 …and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
When you love His Word you can walk in His Word. When you love His Word He will give you to have His Word upon your lips. Your lips will drip with oil and you will walk upon that vibrant, fragrant way into all the created realms. In this you will trod the Highway of Holiness as the gold of your Nature is laid down behind you upon its paths.
Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
