Elohym's Character

H8451

תֹּרָה תּוֹרָה

tôrâh tôrâh

to-raw', to-raw'

From H3384; a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch: - law.

The Law is the Character of the Father. The Law is expressed in the Word of God. Law in Hebrew is Torah, which has a fascinating Paleo Hebrew meaning from the perspective of each individual letter’s meaning.

Spelled Tav-Vov-Resh-Hey, this word picture shows the covenant (Tav); the natural man (Vov); the spiritual man (Resh); and a revealing (Hey) or that which makes manifest.

Put into a sentence, this can mean, “the covenant of the natural man becoming like the spirit man being revealed or made manifest”. In other words, in the TORaH, the original purpose and covenant of Elohym with Adam is actually revealed.

This covenant was for the Vov, which is your body and mind, to become like your spirit. Your Vov is designed to reflect and bear witness to your spirit. When your spirit is full of darkness, then the ‘light’ that is seen in your soul and body is actually darkness:

Mat 6:23 If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

When you get born-again the Glory comes back into your spirit and now the darkness that was in your spirit is displaced by the light of the Glory. Now your spirit is filled with the same Glory that fills the spirit of the man Yashua and what is said of Him is now also true of you:

Joh 1:4 In him was life (Glory); and the life was the light of men.

Your soul and body were designed to bear witness to and to shine forth the glory and light that is in your spirit. If your spirit is dead, then your body and mind show forth the darkness of your spirit. Your spirit is dead before you accept Yashua and alive after you accept Yashua, for Yashua is the resurrected spirit of mankind. He did it for all of us:

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Body and Soul Bearing Witness

If your spirit is full of resurrection light and power, then your body and soul can be transfigured:

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed (transfigured) by the renewing of your mind

Renewing is for the mind and transfiguration is for the body. In this process, both your mind and your body become witnesses for what is actually now living in your resurrected spirit. Glory is now the life living in you.

This is what TORaH describes. TORaH is the Word of God, and this Word describes the plan for your natural being (Vov), which is composed of your body and mind, to become like your spiritual man (Resh), being now resurrected. This plan is called the Covenant, and is represented by the letter Tav. Hey is the revealing of this plan which is concealed in the covenant. This covenant is given to all those who hate the evil in their flesh and want the goodness that they see in Yashua, who is the resurrected spirit of mankind, the New Creation.

Having our mind and body bear witness to the glory in our spirit was impossible until our spirit was resurrected. This was the great promise that our fathers in faith had seen but were not able to participate in.

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off

The promise that was ‘afar off’ was the resurrected spirit that would be given to all of mankind who would believe the Covenant and receive this gift free of charge.

You and I now, through the resurrection of Christ, are now able to participate in this promise. This is Torah written upon our spiritual hearts and now expressed out (Hey) into our natural life by a renewed mind and a body that is being ‘quickened’ by the Holy Spirit into altered states of transfiguration.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
