Awaken Q-U-Tz קוּץ

Awake: Q-U-Tz

to arise abruptly from sleep; to break the shackles off

Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake (QUTz) and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

H6974

קוּץ

qûts

koots

A primitive root (rather identical with H6972 through the idea of abruptness in starting up from sleep (compare H3364)); to awake (literally or figuratively)

Other Hebrew meanings from the Red Dictionary:

To loathe, abhor, feel a sickening dread; To put or remove thorns from a path; To shrink, shrivel, contract; Thorns, thornbush; Clearer of thorns; Curled

This word means to awaken out of a stupor, out of a path of thorns where you have become shriveled and curled up because of your lack of the water of Life. Your ways have become unto you thorns and shackles have bound you to a path that is not causing you to flourish in your identity. To ‘awaken’ is to be birthed into a new reality by the Word of God which washes you and refreshes you and sets you on a straight path where there are no more thorns or hindrances to you nutritious feeding where you become plump and fat with the fatness of Father’s House as you eat at His table.

Psa 36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

You must first feel a ‘sickening dread’ and learn to abhor the bondage of your own flesh which has placed you on this path of thorns which has drained you of blood until you are a shriveled, shrunken, and curled shadow of your true identity.

Awaken, allow Him to break your shackles, and arise to Life as you step into His resurrected spirit that you are now a partaker of. This is your new Life of Inheritance, this is your new life of Covenant.

Psa 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake (QUTz), with thy likeness.
